SHE PULLED THROUGH! : - )

We just received word from family about Joanna’s surgery.

SHE PULLED THROUGH an 8 hour surgery! The doctor asked her questions during the surgery, and she was able answered them correctly. The doctor is pleased, he was able to get out 90 % (would have been more but the tumor figured itself into the brain) of the tumor, he was afraid to get out any more because of possible brain damage. Overall, the doctor said things looked good! They already tested a tiny bit of the tumor and it was cancer free. However, before making any 'overall' conclusions they still need to check the rest to be sure, so they are sending it away to be tested now.

For now the surgery is done (praise the Lord!) but it sounds like there will be a bit of a road to recovery. Unfortunately, Joanna has some other health issues and the doctor said this brain tumor wasn’t the ‘cure all’ answer we all hoped it would be.

Please be praying for:

-Joanna and family as she recovers from this surgery.

-The doctors she will be working with to try to and figure out what other health issues she might have and how best to correct or treat those.

-Curtis and Joanna to have the Lord’s wisdom in making decisions regarding their future ministry opportunities.

**Thank you all so much for all your prayers and response to this. We have been in awe at the overwhelming response from people around the world praying for Joanna and the whole situation. Our family (the body of Christ) is amazing and our God is truly King!

Thanks again for your prayers and compassion!!!

P.S. Yes we be sending another update in a little while on how Joanna’s recovering is going and further info on the test results.
