Fuzzi Bunz

So Sarah to answer your question of what we ordered here it is! Gwen is (we all are...) pretty exited that her 'Fuzzi Bunz' came in the mail this week! We were looking at buying the bumgenius but some people (very little) complained about longevity and seeing as how we're going to be living in the jungle for a while we wanted to go with snaps.

What kind of cloth diapers do you use? Do you like them?

Those are pretty stylish and I can see your model is happy about showing them off! What about the plan old white rectangular clothe diapers? Don't they sell those anymore?

Luv,

Mamacita

I use bumgenius (Velcro version) and blueberry (snap version). I like blueberry diapers more because they are more adjustable but Andrew prefers the Velcro for ease. They are both great. We got the one size diapers, which fit babies from 8lbs to 35lbs! We are saving a lot of bucks for sure going with one siz! To answer "Mamacita", they do have the regular diapers. I figured out the math though, and they are actually more expensive after you buy all the sizes and covers! Are the fuzzi bunz one size, or do you have to buy them in different sizes?

Check out simplemom.com. She's doing a cloth diapering 'special' all this week!

Love the green diaper! We use Bumgenius and FuzziBunz. Love the BG but the velcro does wear out... I have lots of fun searcing ebay and craigslist for good deals on diapers! I've even started using prefolds on days when I'm just home with the boys. I actually like them alot!

Ang recommends not using diapers with Velcro. The Velcro wears out way before the diaper or diaper cover does. I worked at a day care center for five years and the Velcro ones always came apart leaving a child with diapers at their ankles.

Hey thanks for answering my question!

I'm using Bum genius and love them. Funny thing - the reason I went with BG is because a friend of mine had been using her's for two years and said they were still going strong and there were not any problems! So I guess everyone is different when it comes to Velcro wearing out. But I have had no problems so far and love them and even if the velcro does wear out I'll just buy more - that's how much I love them! (or maybe I'll try fuzzi bunz).

Oh and also, a store down in Vista does a cloth diaper sale every few months and people come and sell and buy diapers! It's a great way to try out different brands and see which ones you like the best!
