Joanna Update

Dear Family & Friends,

It has been 40 days since Joanna's surgery, and praise the Lord she is feeling really well! She was only on pain killers for a week after the surgery, and since she made the switch to an all raw vegetable diet (and other natural treatments) she has been feeling progressively better. She has even slept through the night a few times, something she's not been able to do for 4 years. We are very thankful for each day, and thankful that we decided not to do chemo & radiation because I'm sure her energy and enjoyment of life would not be what it is now. We are tentatively planning on getting an MRI done around Christmas to see what the status is on the cancer. We're praying it will be clear!

We've enjoyed spending time with Joanna's family. All of Joanna's sister's were able to come home to spend some time with her, so they had a good time together. One prayer request on top of Joanna's health, is that we are praying about buying a mini-van, so we just ask for wisdom in what God would have us buy. Once again we thank you all for praying and passing our story along so that thousands of people around the world are praying for us. That has been a huge encouragement! Thanks also for the many cards, emails, and gifts of comfort. We are very blessed, and we praise God for His work in our lives and the lives of those around us. We are thankful that we have eternal life through Jesus' work on the cross! This gives us a peace and joy that carries us through each day and causes us to be sensitive to what God wants to do through us.

In Christ,

Curtis for Joanna, Natalie, Reuben & Kaylie
