Power Outage!

Last night are power went out around 6:00pm. & didn’t turn back on until about 11:00! The power (if you're in Canada it called “hydro”) went off because of this big lightning storm that came through. When the power went out we were watching a movie with our neighbors. So since we couldn’t do that anymore... we decided to light some candles & sing songs while the kids played on the recorder, I never felt so “Amish” in all my life! But over all we had a really good time.

Hi, I just discovered your blog! It's pretty cool! Anyway, it's only called "hydro" in SOME parts of Canada...we call in "power" in SK. Some places it is nuclear power too!
