Man, we have really been staying busy this past week. Let me fill you in on what has been happening. On Wednesday of last week NTMC took a good portion of our class on a seven to eight mile canoe trip. It was an exercise in teaching teamwork. It was tuff! Your trying to steer you canoe down the river, and in some places, through the rapids, without yelling at your teammate because they are not steering the right way. The whole time you are trying not to tip your canoe and get dumped into the freezing river! I am pretty sure that everyone enjoyed at least the last half of the trip. It was really a lot of fun to be able to navigate your way through the rapids. We both really enjoyed that part. It was so beautiful out there that you really couldn’t help but enjoy the scenery. It was a very valuable lesson to learn and I am thankful for the opportunity we had.
