Customs

Sorry, we're new at this...

One thing that some fellow missionaries just told us was to let family & friends know that any packages that you might send to us (hint, hint) is to declare them as '$0, No Commercial Value'.
This is the full truth, as we have no intention of selling it. So regardless of what you put in there, it has zero commercial value. This way customs isn't so interested in the package and we won't have to pay an arm and a leg to get it out of customs.

oh yeah - I should have told you that too! Sorry - but yes - it is so so so true - I had to pay $150 (US) to get a jacket my mom sent me from REI because she put the actual price of the jacket on the customs form!!!!
