False Alarm

Hey everyone… well, this week we had a bit of a scare. We where out in Michigan for our Spring break visiting some friends, when Ruth got really sick last night. She was vomiting and having some contractions to go along with it. We thought her water had broken, so we rushed back to Canada today. We just saw the midwives and they told us that everything was normal. What happened was when Ruth vomited it pushed the baby down farther, causing some fluid to leak out. Not breaking her water, though! No baby this tonight, praise the Lord because we’re not ready! It’s still a little early to have girl # 2 out and about in this world. For now she will be staying put in her own little world. Thank you all so much for praying. It’s encouraging and comforting to have so many people bring us before the Lord. God bless and we’ll be sure to keep you updated on our blog as things continue!

Thank God that you all made it home safe. We were a little concerned than Ben might have to deliver your baby in the car on the way home. Ruth, make sure to get rested up from your busy week. God bless you all. We loved seeing you this past week. Can't wait to see pictures of the new little one!
